The World Test Championship final in 2025 will be held in Lord's

The International Cricket Council has confirmed that Lord's would host the World Test Championship final for the first time in the summer of 2025.

The tournament's inaugural edition saw New Zealand triumph in Southampton in 2021, while Australia, the reigning champions, defeated India at The Oval in 2023.
The two teams who rank highest in the Test Championship rankings will compete in a five-day final that begins on June 11.
Australia is presently second in the standings, behind India. Having lost six of its fifteen tests in the last eighteen months, England is fourth and New Zealand is third in the standings. Based on how well each of the nine participating teams performed in Test matches over a two-year period that began in 2023, they are rated.

On January 28, the Lord's finals will be announced. South Africa, New Zealand, and England are still trying to rally late to make it to the championship match.
